I’m Janene and I’m so happy you’re here.
A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME:
I have zero self-control around a bag of Doritos, so you probably shouldn’t invite me to your Superbowl party. I pour the milk before the cereal (don’t judge) and I thought a sloth was a mythical creature until 2 years ago. I suffer from Pediculophobia, the fear of lice, so don’t itch your head around me unless you want to see me freak out. One time my three kids asked me 159 questions in 6 hours and I seriously almost lost my mind.
I create LOTS of memes, and I love to write about the humorous side of life and parenting. I also like to share “good news” stories, because we all need more good news in our life, don’t you think?
Since I started a public Facebook page two years ago, I Might Be Funny has grown to nearly 400,000 followers on social media. It has been quite the ride and I appreciate each and every one of you!
My work has been published on Scary Mommy, Grown & Flown, Love What Matters, Her View From Home, Perfection Pending, That’s Inappropriate, Being A Mom, TodaysMama, Parent Co., Sammiches & Psych Meds, and Humorwriters.org, among others.
Additionally, I am published in the humor anthology “Laugh Out Loud: 40 Women Humorists Celebrate Then and Now…Before We Forget”, through the Erma Bombeck Writer’s workshop.
I am currently at work on my first book, a middle-grade novel.
